Cardless Cash Access: Why? … And Why Now?
Mobile prestaging at the ATM has been on the radar for a while, but has only now begun to build momentum.
In 2015, Wintrust and BMO implemented cardless ATM transaction capability network-wide; in 2016, we’ve seen more providers implement mobile pre-staging — or begin to consider it seriously.
This session will look at the real advantages — e.g., speed, security and a better customer experience — and just as real challenges — e.g., mobile malware and lack of interoperability — that accompany a mobile ATM-experience.

CarrieAnne Cormier is AVP/Retail Operations & Strategy at Avidia Bank where she oversees operations and strategy for their 10-branch retail network. After joining Avidia Bank in 2005, CarrieAnne worked in various positions at the branch level before moving into retail administration. Her solid background in branch-based operations has made her a key player in the planning and implementation of new product and digital banking initiatives, most recently being the rollout of cardless cash for Avidia Mobile. Justin Dunn | Senior Vice President, Marketing Director | WSFS Bank
Justin leads corporate marketing for WSFS where he oversees the planning, development and execution of all marketing activities including: product development, market research, advertising and brand management, communications and media relations. Justin has been responsible for the successful launch of several innovative bank products and services. In 2015, WSFS became the first bank in the Mid-Atlantic Region to introduce cardless ATM technology. More recently, WSFS Bank’s passion to innovate brought to bear a strategic alliance with ZenBanx to launch a digital-only, multi-currency account that lets customers save, exchange and send multiple currencies from a single account.
Tom Ormseth | SVP NonCredit Services | Wintrust Financial
As Senior Vice President of NonCredit Services for Wintrust Financial, Tom Ormseth is responsible for commercial and retail product development, treasury management, international, derivatives, municipal and various other duties. He is also the Head of Treasury Management. In that role, he is responsible for product development, product implementation, sales support and profitability analysis. Tom has been in banking since 1985, having worked previously with ABN AMRO and LaSalle Bank.

Doug Brown currently leads FIS Mobile, the Fintech leader in digital with over 1,600 clients and 35MM users. He is responsible for business strategy, product development and P&L of the FIS portfolio of mobile banking,Cardless Cash, mobile retail and mobile check deposit. Prior to FIS, Doug was the SVP of Mobile at Bank of America, where he led the successful launch of BofA mobile banking and drove its mobile commerce strategy. Brown was the Product Marketing Director for edocs, a successful start-up software company focused on ePayments and eBilling, which was acquired by Siebel.
