Chase took a different route, using QR codes to enable payments on Android and iOS devices. Sagar has over 15 years professional experience and has spent close the last 8 years focused on digital payment, e-wallets and banking innovation. Sagar helped lead the initial launch of Apple Pay as a member of Citi’s Emerging Payments team working directly with Apple to help shape their digital wallet and ensure a frictionless user experience. Since that time, he has led the launch and marketing of all of the major Pays including Android Pay, Samsung Pay, Microsoft Wallet, Visa Checkout and Masterpass.
